Container Park and a walk down Fremont Street.

Breakfast at the Freemont buffet

 Finished watching documentary on Buddhism.

Exploring Fremont Street.  I'll be starting with Container Park.  It's only been opened for about three months.

Pretty cool place.  Now, I'll be heading East.

Tumbling tumble weeds

As I moved East, I noticed a number of motels that were boarded up.  Looks fairly recent.  I began wondering what was going on with Fremont street.

This is Sheila who I met on my walk.  She is a lower income person who lives near by.  At first she accosted me.  She saw me taking pictures and thought I was with Zappos.com.   I told her I was just a guy taking photos.  After that, she was kind enough to explain to me what's going on.

Zappos is the force behind the changes on Fremont. They have got the city to pass zoning laws to clean up Fremont street.  Most of the Motels will be gone.  Then they will be building nice condominiums up and down Fremont.  The project is planned to go from the Fremont Experience to Sam's town.

Pretty cool Motel sign ahead.

And a cleaver phrase...
 But where's the Motel?!!!

At 4:30 p.m., I went back to Container Park to watch the Prey Mantis blow some fire.

Pretty cool stuff.
I nice girl let's me talk a photo of her large poodle.

Beginning to watch Documentary of New York City.

A stop at the MVP store to get Dad some a late Christmas present.

A rest at the Excalibur food court.
